I took it hoping to change as soon as there was an available position for days. Then I started having kids and it became a choice.&lt;br /&gt;Working the night shift can be very difficult. When I was single with no kids, it was not a problem. I came home and slept and stay kept my social time with friends and family. After marriage and kids it became a challenge.&lt;br /&gt;Few things that are find that works for me is taking a nap after work (2-3hrs) and then I try to get on my family cycle as soon as possible. I also try music to help me relax before going to sleep and I try to eat well and sleep before my shift.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6240307842872015018/1054901918851997171/comments/default/4244154744186429549'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6240307842872015018/1054901918851997171/comments/default/4244154744186429549'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://rntalk.nursezone.com/2010/01/workin-on-night-shift-can-you-stay.html?showComment=1265211411052#c4244154744186429549' title=''/><author><name>Zoe</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/04021303055669898732</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://rntalk.nursezone.com/2010/01/workin-on-night-shift-can-you-stay.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6240307842872015018.post-1054901918851997171' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6240307842872015018/posts/default/1054901918851997171' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-265152898'/></entry></feed>
