Take facebook for instance one can access family and friends from all over the world and information sharing is limited o only those you want to have access. In the recent Haiti disaster many records are lost, how do we obtain these information without redoing test? Having a web based system that is accessible form all over the world will prevent duplication.&lt;br /&gt;My current experience with Web based records is limited however I see that it has a place in a broader sense, the nurses in my place of employ enter there notes and the MD&amp;#39;s, etc have access from all over the state. There will have to be more stringent protection, however it is worth looking into.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6240307842872015018/4931192731804836601/comments/default/8014206069459281525'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6240307842872015018/4931192731804836601/comments/default/8014206069459281525'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://rntalk.nursezone.com/2010/01/web-based-medical-records-dream-or.html?showComment=1263831618125#c8014206069459281525' title=''/><author><name>Anonymous</name><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img1.blogblog.com/img/blank.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://rntalk.nursezone.com/2010/01/web-based-medical-records-dream-or.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6240307842872015018.post-4931192731804836601' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/6240307842872015018/posts/default/4931192731804836601' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1823655511'/></entry></feed>
