Each...</title><content type='html'>There are millions like Lynn in this country. Each story is sadder than the next. I think instead of trying to make a monumental change in our healthcare system, Obama should have started with incremental steps. They don&amp;#39;t have to be small steps, but one bite at a time. Like first thing--allow all people like Lynn (with life threatening illnesses and no insurance) to become immediately eligible for Medicare--something that they have already been paying into. And they can continue to pay into it, depending on income, until they reach age 65.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That would have been a huge step forward. Another step would be to tighten the regulations on insurance companies.
